To get admission in any course mentioned above VIT conducts its own entrance exam called VITEEE every year. VITEEE is an online based exam with duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. There are 2 different sets of paper for PCM and PCB students. Online application is available from the month of November till one day before the slot booking. VITEEE has 3-4 flexible dates as well as time, you can choose your priority by slot booking.

Eligibility criteria to give VITEEE – Candidate must pass or be passing 10+2 with a recognised board/university with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/biology with an aggregate of 60%(50% for north eastern state and SC/ST).

Admission is on the basis of marks obtained by candidate in VITEEE. The test comprises of

PART-I – Physics

PART-II – Chemistry

PART-III – Mathematics / Biology

PART-IV – English

The paper is MCQ type. Each part has 40 question except English which has 5 questions. There is no negative marking.

For admission in BArch course NATA score are considered.

Whereas for BDes both VITEEE or UCEED score are considered and BA/BBA/BSc/BCom are done through merit basis.

Postgraduate course

For higher degree admission MTech another test VITMEE or GATE score are considered.

Whereas for MBA, CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT/NAT/CMAT scores are considered and for MSc/MDes admission is done through merit basis.

Doctoral programme

Candidate need to have a valid score in VITREE to take admission in the PhD/MPhil courses followed by personal interviews. Minimum eligibility to apply for doctoral programme is 60% score for science, MPhil and management discipline, 55% for language and law discipline.

For admission in MBA courses, CAT scores followed by group discussion and interview are criteria followed. In which distribution is as follows 65% CAT score, 10% GD, 20% Interview score and 5% work experience. Eligibility for admission in IIT Roorkee MBA is 60% or 6 CGPA (55% for SC/ST) score in your graduation degree.

3.      PhD courses

The application for PhD courses starts from March. Candidate has to fill online application form through institute website www.iitr.ac.inand upload all the required documents.

Eligibility – Candidate must have a minimum of 6 CGPA in their postgraduate course. If candidate has a degree of MSc/MA/MCom, they have to qualify GATE or JRF-NET. For candidate other than CFTI 7.5 CGPA are required.

How to get admission in St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai

St Xavier’s College is an autonomous college established in the year 1869 and is affiliated under University of Mumbai.The college offers Junior college, UG, PG, Certificate and Diploma courses in the field of Arts, Science, Business and Commerce.

1.Junior College

The Junior college is a two-year programme which provides with you Higher Secondary Certificate by Maharashtra Board.

2. Undergraduate degree

The college offers 6 different degree BA, BCom, BSc,BSc (IT), BMS, BMM. Admission in BMS and BMM are open for all stream students thus an entrance examination is conducted for the two streams all the rest streams entrance is done through merit list.

The entrance test of BMS and BMM are conducted online and is of 2 hours of duration. It is a 100 marks test. For the final scoring the ratio of weightage of the test to weightage of your high school marks is 60:40. The test contains NO NEGATIVE marking. The syllabus is
