Released marking scheme 10th and 12th examinations: CBSE

    Amid growing speculation over the decision of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to hold class 10th, 12th board examinations in 2021, CBSE has released the marking scheme and model paper for class 10th board exam 2021.     CBSE X Marking Scheme 2021:

    Under the marking scheme of class 10 board exam released by CBSE, all students will have to bring 33 percent marks by combining theoretical and internal assessment marks to pass. CBSE has the internal assessment of 20 marks for all subjects of 10th standard. That is, in 10th standard theoretical test will be of 80 marks and internal assessment will be of 20 marks. Students of class 10, who will get 33 per cent marks including theoretical examination and internal assessment, will be passed.

    CBSE 12th Marking Scheme 2021:

    CBSE Board has released the marking scheme and sample question paper for class 12th examination, stating that it will be compulsory for students to score 33-33 per cent in theory and practical / project / internal examinations to pass the 12th class board exam. That is, it is necessary to bring 33 percent of the total marks in all the examinations for any subject of the board, not just in the theoretical paper.

    Apart from this, it is compulsory to bring 33 percent marks in every subject as well. Along with this, 33 percent marks will have to be compulsorily brought in practical / project / internal examinations. In the practical subject of class 12th, the theoretical paper will be of 70 marks and practical will be of 30 marks. Whereas, without practical, there will be 80 marks theoretical test and 20 marks project / internal examination. Students will have to get at least 26 marks for 80 marks and 23 marks for subjects with 70 marks.
