SYLLABUS AND EXAMINATION PLANNING FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR LEGAL OFFICER 

(LAW AND LEGAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT) 

EXAMINATION PATTERN:

Paper Subject Marks
I Constitution of India with special emphasis on Fundamental Rights, Directive Principles and enforcement of rights through writs, Functioning of High Court and Supreme Court and attorney General 50
II Civil Procedure Code and Criminal, Procedure Code. Provisions required to be referred generally in Government Office will be given importance. 50
III Evidence Act, Limitation Act, Interpretation of Statutes, drafting and conveyancing. 50
IV Language Part A: General Hindi 25
Part B: General English 25

NOTE:

1. The duration for each Paper shall be of 3 hours.

2. 40% in each paper shall be pass marks for the exam.

3. Senior Secondary Level will be the standard of the language paper.

4. The pattern of question paper will be Objective Type.

5. There shall be 150 questions for each paper.

6. There is negative marking is in this exam.

 

:SYLLABUS OF EXAMINATION:

The competitive examination shall include the following papers and each paper shall carry the number of marks as shown against each:-

Language- Part-A General Hindi

 

1.शब्द रचना – संधि और संधि विच्छेद, समास, उपसर्ग, प्रत्यय।
2.शब्द प्रकार – (क) तत्सम, अर्धतत्सम, तद्भव, देशज, विदेशी।
(ख) संज्ञा, सर्वनाम, विश्लेषण, क्रिया, अव्यय (क्रिया विश्लेषण, सम्बन्ध सूचक, विस्मयबोधक निपात)
3.शब्द ज्ञान – पर्यायवाची, वलोम, शब्द युग्मों का अर्थ भेद, वाक्यांश के लिए सार्थक शब्द, समश्रुत भिन्नार्थक शब्द,  समानार्थी शब्दों का विवेक, उपयुक्त शब्द चयन, संबंधवाची शब्दावली।
4.शब्द शुद्धी
5.व्याकरणीय कोटियां – परसर्ग, लिंग, वचन, पुरुष, कल, वृत्ति,पक्ष, वाच्य।
6.वाक्य रचना
7.वाक्य शुद्धि
8.विराम चिन्हों का प्रयोग।
9.मुहावरे/ लोकोक्तियाँ
10.पारिभाषिक शब्दावली : प्रशासनिक, विविध (विशेषतः) ।
