Eligibility

For entering the teaching line, one needs to complete the required education. Below is the degree required mentioned along with the eligibility to apply:

For a primary teacher, one should have at least passed 12th with arts or science from a recognized institution and apply for a diploma in education (D. Ed) courses.
For a secondary teacher, one should be graduate as a BA or B.SC from a recognized institution and can apply for B.Ed courses.
For a senior secondary teacher or a teacher in specialized subjects, one should have completed B.Ed and can apply for M.Ed courses.
To become a government teacher, one should clear the CTET (Central teacher eligibility Test)
