How to Become Doctor After 12th

A doctor is a person who treats injuries and illness using medicines. A doctor could be known by other names as well such as a physician, medical practitioner or a medical doctor. The doctors study, diagnose and treat the issues associated with the body.

Eligibility and Steps to Become A Doctor

For a person to be a doctor, one should satisfy the following eligibility conditions:

  • The student needs to complete class 10+2 with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) from any recognized institution with at least 50% in his 12th board.
  • The student needs to appear for the NEET-UG entrance exam and must score good marks.
  • Qualified students should appear for counseling and should take admission in college as per their seats
  • After completion of bachelor’s, need to get registered with MCI or State medical council to legally practice the doctor practices.
