Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has issued advertisement for the recruitment of 1473 vacant posts of spokesperson in State Inter Colleges and Government Girls Inter Colleges (GIC-GGIC). Eligible and interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the Commission uppsc.up.nic.in for applying for the post of spokesperson for various subjects in government inter colleges in Uttar Pradesh.

Details of the vacant posts: In the state intermediate colleges of the state, 1473 posts of spokesmen in different subjects are vacant, on which recruitment is to be done through this recruitment process. This includes 991 posts in male branch and 482 in female branch. The process of online application for this will begin today i.e. from 22 December 2020. The last date for application has been set as 22 January 2021. Online

Age limit: According to the notification issued by the Commission, for the first time, the selection for the posts of spokesperson will be based on the main examination. The candidates applying for these posts should not be less than 21 years and not more than 40 years on July 1, 2020. The age for the PwD should not be more than 55 years. Apart from this, relaxation in maximum age will be provided to reserved category candidates as per rules of UP government.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Prelims Exam and Main Examination for the post of Lecturer in Government Intermediate Colleges of the state. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Secretary Jagdish said that for the first time there will not be an interview for the recruitment of spokesperson posts for government intermediate colleges. Under the interview deletion process, the state government has decided to select the spokesperson’s posts for the first time through preliminary and main examination. Secretary said that the selection will be done on the basis of merit of the main examination.
