Apply for the job of lecturer, sub-editor in UPSC

    Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) UPSC has released a notification on its official website for the recruitment of Teaching and Non-Teaching.

    Through UPSC Recruitment 2020, 24 vacant posts including Scientific Officer, Junior Scientific Officer, Lecturer, and Deputy Editor will be filled in various departments.

    Those candidates who are preparing for government job 2020, they can apply online for UPSC Teaching-Non-Teaching Recruitment 2020 from UPSC official website upsc.gov.in.

    The last date to apply for UPSC Teaching-Non-Teaching Recruitment 2020 is 27 August 2020 till 11:59 pm. While the last date for submitting the print out by filling the application form is 28 August 2020 till 11:59 pm.

    UPSC is running a recruitment drive to fill 24 vacancies of Scientific Officer, Junior Scientific Officer, Lecturer, and Sub-Editor.

    Out of which 14 vacancies are for Junior Scientific Officer, 3 for Lecturer (Prosthetics and Orthotics), 2 for Lecturer (Vocational Guidance), Sub-Editor, and Lecturer (Physiotherapy), and one for Scientific Officer (Pharmacognosy).

    Educational Qualification:

    Scientific Officer (Pharmacognosy): A candidate should have a Master’s degree with Botany or Pharmacy (Pharmacognosy as the main subject) of a recognized university.

    Junior Scientific Officer:

    A candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Physics / Applied Physics / Chemistry / Polymer Chemistry / Electronics from a recognized University or an Engineering degree from a recognized University or Master in Electronics / Telecommunication / Computer Science / Information Technology / Metallurgical / Must have a degree. Mechanical / Aeronautical / Chemical.

    Deputy Editor:

    (i) Bachelor’s degree in law of a recognized university or institute,

    (ii) Hindi as an optional or compulsory subject at senior secondary (12th) level from a recognized board or institute;

    (iii) English as a compulsory subject at senior secondary (12th) level from a recognized board or institute; And

    (iv) Hindi of deeds, agreements, bills, acts, rules, regulations, and orders for a period in the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory Administration or Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous or Statutory Bodies or recognized Institutions or Universities.

    Three years of experience in translating to

    OR

    the editing and translation of the decisions of the High Court or Supreme Court in Hindi for three years;

    OR

    Postgraduate Diploma in Translation from a Central Government or State Government recognized institute.

    Application fee:

    The candidates belonging to the general category will have to pay a non-refundable online application fee of Rs 25. For SC / ST / PH / Female candidates, exemption from online registration is exempt.
