Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued a notification online application for the recruitment of 07 posts of Assistant Professor, Mathematics in Government Engineering Colleges under the Department of Science and Technology, Bihar. In which the last date for online application has been fixed 20-10-2020.

Total 07 posts for Assistant Professor (Mathematics).

Eligibility Details:

Educational Qualification: In order to apply for the posts of Assistant Professor, the candidate is required to have a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from a recognized institute or university and must have passed Bachelor or Masters or equivalent examination with Mathematics subject in at least First Division.

With this, it has been made mandatory for the candidates to have a minimum of 06 research publications and at least 08 years of teaching/research/industry experience in the list of SCI Journals / UGC / AICTE Journals.

Age Limit: No limit of a minimum of 30 years and the maximum age has been fixed on the basis of the applicant’s age 01-08-2020. While the retirement age has been fixed at 65 years.

Application fee: Rs. 25 / – has been fixed as an application fee for SC / ST / Women / 40% or more disabled candidates of Bihar state. For all other candidates, the application fee has been fixed at Rs 100 / -.

Selection Process: The selection of eligible and qualified candidates on these posts will be done on the basis of merit list + interview.
