The private schools of the capital Delhi have once again been given the opportunity to enroll in reserved seats from the lower income group {EWS-EWS} quota of primary classes. Parents of students can apply for this by 30 November 2020. The Directorate of Education, Delhi has once again started the application process for admission in the academic session 2020-21.

Applications can be made till November 30

Under the Right to Education Act, 25 per cent seats of private schools in Delhi are reserved for the low income group {EWS}. The Directorate of Education of Delhi invites centralized applications for these seats. The first application process for the academic session 2020-21 was started in January 2020. After that now the application process has been started again on 24 November 2020. Eligible and interested candidates or their parents can apply online by November 30 by visiting the official website of the Directorate of Education, Delhi. Applications made after this or sent through other means will not be accepted.

It is known that in the private schools of the capital Delhi, more than 40 thousand seats of primary classes are reserved for EWS quota. The Directorate of Education has already admitted to these seats for the admission of EWS candidates after two draws, while after that the Directorate has again invited applications for the remaining seats. On the basis of which the Directorate will organize a draw on December 2 for admission.
