Chandigarh Forest Department has issued recruitment notification for the posts of Forest Guard and Forester. A total of 20 posts will be filled through this recruitment. Age Range
The minimum age of the candidate for these posts should be between 18 and a maximum of 37 years.

Educational Qualifications

Forest Guard: The candidate applying for this post must have passed 12th from a recognized institute.

Forester: Candidates applying for this post should have 12th pass in any of the two subjects in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Agriculture from any recognized board, or tenth pass with ITI in the Second Division.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the said posts will be on the basis of written examination. This exam will be multiple choice. Candidates who qualify the written test will have to appear in the PET test. After successful in this round, candidates will be given appointments according to preference. Candidates should note that the probation period in the job will be three years. During this time, the selected youth will be paid only according to basic pay or DC rate. After this, the whole salary will be started according to the grade.
