Gujarat Board declared Result 10th Class

    Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has declared the result of class 10th or SSC examination. Students who had registered for the SSC exam can check their result online at GSEB website at gseb.org by using their roll number. A total of 8,57,204 students had registered and were promoted this year. Of these, 17,186 have secured A1 grade. The number of students who got A2 grade is 57,362. Out of the total students, 4.90 lakh were boys and 3.66 lakh were girls. Maximum students got C1 and C2 grades.

    Final result
    The board has adopted the 40:20:30:10 formula to prepare the 10th result. Under this, 40 percent of the marks of half-yearly and annual examination of class IX, 20 percent of the internal exam of class IX, 30 percent of the offline internal exam conducted for class 10th and 10 percent of the unit test of class 10th have been taken.

    Result of previous years
    In 2019, Shashwat Upadhyay topped with 99.9% marks. Whereas in 2018, Savani Hill Ishwarbai became the topper with 99 per cent marks. Every year, the percentage of Gujarat Board fluctuates a lot. In 2020, the pass percentage was 60.64 per cent lower than in 2019, which was 67.5 per cent. In 2020, medium level, English medium schools performed best with an overall pass percentage of 86.75 per cent, followed by Hindi medium with 63.94 per cent. Gujarati medium schools recorded the worst pass percentage at 57,54 per cent. However, this year the board has registered a 100% pass percentage.
