The Defense Ministry has taken out recruitment for Group C posts for the Army Service Corps by the 71 Command Area, the Northern Command Headquarters of the Indian Army. Under the recruitment drive, vacant posts of civilian motor driver, vehicle mechanic, fireman, labor and carpenter are to be filled.

There is a total of 42 vacancies for these posts. Interested and eligible applications can apply for these posts in offline mode. Candidates can send the application form through Registered / Speed ​​/ Ordinary Post. The last date for submission of application form is 01 June 2021.

According to the notification, the minimum age of the candidate for the post of Civilian Motor Driver should be 18 years and maximum 27 years. While for all other posts it is 18 to 25 years.

Educational qualification

For civilian motorist, the candidate should have passed 10th standard. With a civilian driving license of heavy vehicle and two years of driving experience. Must be able to read the names written in Hindi and English of vehicles and tools with 10th pass for the post of vehicle mechanic. Apart from this, one should also have experience of heavy wheel repair.

For the post of fireman, the candidate has to be 10th pass. Also all types of firefighters should have experience in maintenance and fitting. For the post of Labor, the candidate has to be tenth pass. At the same time, having passed 10th from any recognized board for the post of Carpenter, one should also have experience of carpentry.
