There is a good news for the youth who are interested in research and research. Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) New Delhi has released the notification for 28 posts of Scientist B. According to the notification, BIS has sought applications from eligible candidates. All these posts will be filled for different subjects. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these posts on the official website of BIS bis.gov.in. Keep in mind that the last date for sending the application form is 25 June 2021.

Post and Educational Qualification

The applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized Institute or University with minimum 60% marks. Along with this, it is necessary to have PG in the relevant subject. The maximum age limit for the candidates has been fixed at 30 years. OBC, SC, Women, ST, Divyang will be given relaxation as per the rules of the Central Government.

Eligible applicants first visit the official website of BIS at bis.gov.in. On the homepage, click on the View All link in the What’s New section at the bottom. This will open a new web page. Click on the link ‘Recruitment to the Post of Scientist-B’ present here. Click on Hindi or English link here. On clicking, the detailed advertisement issued related to the posts will open. Read it carefully and check your eligibility according to the posts. After that click on the click here to apply online link given on the previous web page. Now apply as per the guidelines.

Selection Process

To select the eligible candidates for the post of Scientist B first they will be called in the written test. Qualified youth who appear in the merit list will be invited for interview. Selected candidates on the basis of merit will be appointed to the posts of Scientist B.
