Recruitment of Police ASI and SI

    Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has released another recruitment notification after recruitment of 9534 posts of Police SI. Through this recruitment, vacant SI and ASI posts will be filled in various branches of the police department. Branches for which this recruitment has been done in the Police Department include Confidential Branch and Accounts Branch. Interested candidates can check the recruitment notification by visiting the official website of UP Police Recruitment Board uppbpb.gov.in. This recruitment will be done on a total of 1329 posts.     Application fee
    All the category candidates will have to pay Rs 400 as the application fee. The application fee can be paid by debit / credit card in online mode.

    Age Range
    The minimum age of the applicant has been fixed from 21 to maximum 28 years. The age of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes has been fixed at 33 years with a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.

    Educational qualification –
    Applicant must have graduated from any recognized university. Also, O level computer course should be done. Hindi / English typing speed test will also be done on the candidates’ computer.

    UP Police ASI Recruitment 2021 Exam Pattern
    Written test for these posts will be conducted of 400 marks. Questions will be asked from four parts in the paper. 100 marks have been set for each part.
    General Hindi / Computer Knowledge – 100 Marks
    General Awareness / Current Affairs – 100 marks
    Reasoning – 100 Marks
    Mental Ability – 100 Marks

    Selection Process
    Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination, physical proficiency test and typing / stenographer examination. Candidates passing all the stages will be medically tested. After that the final merit will be issued, appointment will be given.
