On behalf of the National Testing Agency (NTA), there is good news for those wishing to make a career in teaching. The agency has recruited 3400 posts of Principal, Vice Principal, TGT and PGT in Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) across the country. By applying online for these posts, candidates can join the recruitment process. This recruitment is being organized by the National Testing Agency. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination.

Required Date of Recruitment

The applications for these posts started from 1 April 2021. The last date for application is 30 April 2021. Candidates can submit the application fee by 1 May 2021. At the same time, the last date for amendment in the application form is 4-6 May 2021. The computer based examination of this recruitment will be held in May / June 2021.

Educational qualification

Candidates applying for the posts of principal should have a master’s degree and a B.Ed. degree. He must have a 10-year teaching experience. Those applying to the posts of Vice Principal should have a Master’s degree, B.Ed. degree and a 2-year experience.

Those applying for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) should have a Master’s degree, B.Ed. degree. Candidates applying for the posts of Trend Graduate Teacher (TGT) should have a Master’s degree, B.Ed. degree in addition to a STET / CTET pass certificate.

People up to this age can apply

The maximum age of the candidate applying for the Principal is 50 years, the maximum age for the post of Vice Principal is 45 years, the maximum age for the posts of Post Graduate Teacher is 40 years and the maximum age for the posts of Trend Graduate Teacher is 35 years.
