RRB NTPC Phase 3 CBT 2021 announced dates

    Exam city and dates for the third phase NTPC recruitment exam will be released today by Railway Recruitment Board. Details of exam city and CBT date of Phase III will be available on the official website of the regional board. The NTPC recruitment examination for the third phase will be held from 31 January to 12 February 2021. About 28 lakh candidates will appear in the third phase examination. Today, the link of travel pass will also be activated for reserved category candidates. Candidates will be able to go to their regional RRB website and download their pass by clicking on the relevant link. The admit card for the third phase exam will be issued four days before the exam date.

    This time a total of 1.25 crore youths applied for RRB NTPC recruitment. NTPC Phase I examinations have been conducted. The examinations were held from 28 December 2020 to 13 January 2021, in which 23 lakh candidates took part. After this, the second phase started from 16 January and will run till 30 January. 27 lakh candidates are appearing in the second phase examination.

    Selection Process:
    For all the posts advertised in NTPC recruitment, CBT will be conducted in 2 phases followed by skill test.
    The skill test for the posts of Station Master, Traffic Assistant will be computer based aptitude test. There will be typing skill test for Junior Clerk Less Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk Less Typist, Senior Clerk Less Typist, Junior Accounts Less Typist, Senior Type Keeper.

    Exam pattern
    The first phase will be of 90 minutes. There will be 100 questions in this exam. 40 questions will be asked from general awareness, 30 from math’s and reasoning. The second phase examination will be held for a total of 120 marks. In this, 50 marks will be given for General Awareness, 35 for Mathematics and 35 for General Intelligence and Reasoning. A total time of 90-90 minutes has been fixed for both the stages of examination. Disabled candidates will be 120 minutes. Multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam and negative marking will be done for wrong answers. The 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
