Schools opened in the new year

    In view of the increasing number of cases of Covid-19 epidemic in the midst of growing frost since November and the reported cases of infections in children reported after school opening in some states, the governments of various states decided to remain closed for the time being is.     Assam: The state government has issued instructions to open all government and private schools till 31 December 2020 from next year i.e. 1 January 2021. In view of the state of Covid-19 epidemic in the state, according to the order issued by the state government yesterday, November 30, 2020, for classes 6 to class 12 in schools, physical classes have been allowed to be conducted from January 1, 2021. However, the final decision in this regard will be taken only after the state government assesses the epidemic situation. At the same time, in the final year students and schools of the state’s colleges and universities, the residence of the 10th and 12th students has been allowed to open from December 15.

    Rajasthan: The state government has announced the closure of all government and non-government schools as well as colleges and universities by 31 December 2020. Earlier also, the government had announced the closure of schools till 30 November, which has been extended for the next one month. This announcement has been made by the state government in view of the increasing cases of Covid-19 in the state.

    Jammu and Kashmir: The administration has also announced the closure of all government and private schools till 31 December. According to the instructions issued by the State Executive Committee Chairman and Chief Secretary on Sunday, November 29, 2020, this decision has been taken in view of the ever increasing cases of corona as well as heavy snowfall.

    Himachal Pradesh: The state government has decided on Monday that all schools and colleges from the state will remain closed till 31 December 2020. Schools in the state were allowed to open from November 1, but in view of reported infections, the state government had announced the closure of schools by November 25. Suresh Bhardwaj, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs in the state government said that now the schools will be closed till 31 December.

    In response to a question recently asked by Health Minister Satyendar Jain regarding the opening of government and private schools in Delhi, according to media reports, he said that the schools will not open until the state government is confident about the safety of students. Does not happen.
