SSC GD RECRUITMENT 2021

    Indian Para Military Forces are currently waiting for the recruitment of General Duty (GD) Constable to be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Earlier, the notification for this recruitment was going to be issued in March 2021 itself. But due to the increasing cases of corona, it was postponed several times. Although now the cases of corona are decreasing, it is expected that the commission may issue notification for GD constable soon.

    For selection one has to pass in these examinations:
    SSC has not released the notification for the GD exam yet, but we can assume based on the previous recruitments that the candidates will have to go through three types of tests to get selected for these posts. First of all computer based written examination will be conducted for these posts. After this the candidates will have to go through the physical test and finally the medical test of the candidates. After passing all these processes, the final merit list will be prepared and on the same basis the candidates will be appointed as constables in NIA, IB, Delhi Police, CRPF, ITBP and other central forces.

    Computer Based Test (CBT):
    This exam will be conducted online and there will be 100 questions of 100 marks. Candidates will get 90 minutes to solve these questions. In this paper, 25 questions of 25 marks are asked from Maths, Reasoning, General Knowledge and Language (Hindi / English).

    Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
    Candidates who qualify CBT will be called for PET. In this, the candidates have to fulfill the following criteria.
    Race – To be successful in this, male candidates will have to run 5 km in 24 minutes and female candidates will have to run 1.8 km in 8 minutes.
    Height – Minimum height of men should be 170 cms and minimum height of women should be 157 cms.
    Chest – The chest of men should be at least 80 cms without expansion and it should have at least 5 cms expansion after expansion.
    Weight – The weight of the candidates should be according to their height and medical standard.

    Medical Exam:
    The candidates who are successful in these examinations will be called for medical examination and in this the candidates will have to undergo eye site, blood pressure and other types of medical tests. The documents of the candidates will also be checked at the time of medical examination.
