SSC Steno Exam 2019 Stenographer Exam will begin two days ago

    Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced to start the computer based examination two days before the pre-determined dates as per the selection process of Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Exam 2019. As per the notice issued by the Commission on Tuesday, 24 November 2020, the first phase of the SSC Stenographer Exam 2019 i.e. Computer Based Examination will be conducted from 22 December to 24 December 2020. Explain that in the previously released exam calendar, the Commission had announced to conduct the SSC Stenographer 2019 exam from 24 December to 30 December 2020.     Examination postponed due to Covid-19 epidemic

    The notification for the Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Exam 2019 to be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission was released on 20 September 2019. The application process lasted until 18 October. The computer-based examination was to be conducted from May 5 to May 7, 2020 as per the schedule of the notification. However, due to the Covid-19 epidemic across the country, the Commission has repeatedly postponed the conduct of the examination. The SSC had announced to hold the steno exam from 24 to 30 December in the revised examination schedule released on 7 October. After this, the Commission has once again revised the exam date and announced to conduct it from 22 December to 24 December 2020.

    Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Exam 2019

    The Stenographer Grade C and Grade D examination will be of two hours with a total of 200 questions of Objective Type Multiple Choice nature from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and English Language and Comprehension subjects. Maximum 200 marks are prescribed for the examination. There will also be negative marking of 0.25 marks in the exam.
