UGC meeting to be held to discuss fresh admissions, exams, new guidelines

    The University Grants Commission (UGC) on Monday assembled an emanant conference to talk about issues of scholastic schedule and direct of assessments just as new confirmations delayed due to Covid-19 lockdown.

    The commission authorities thought on the proposals made by two boards set up to investigate the issues of scholastic misfortune and online instruction in the wake of the lockdown in the nation due to the coronavirus pandemic.

    One of the panels drove by Haryana University Vice-Chancellor RC Kuhad was shaped to investigate the methods for directing tests in colleges in the midst of the lockdown and work on an other scholarly schedule.

    The subsequent panel, to propose measures to improve online training, was driven by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) VC Nageshwar Rao. Both the boards presented their reports on Friday a week ago.
