The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Thursday announced the pre-exam date for IAS and IFS 2021. According to the commission, this time the pre-examination of IAS / IFS will be held on June 27, 2021. In this regard, the Commission has issued a notification giving detailed information related to recruitment. Applications for these posts have started from 4 March 2021. The last date for application for the Union Public Service Commission is 24 March 2021. As per the announced notification, UPSC is conducting these exams for 712 IAS and 110 IFS posts this time.

Important dates related to recruitment (UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2021 Date)

Applications for these posts of IAS and IPS have started from 4 March 2021. The last date to apply is 24 March 2021. All the candidates have to submit the application fee by 24 March 2021. The admit cards for these exams will be released in June. 2021. At the same time, the pre-examination for these posts will be held on 27 June 2021.

UPSC Civil Services Exam 2021 Eligibility Criteria

I.A.S. Candidates applying for the posts must have a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university. Those who have degrees in animal husbandry and veterinary science, botany, agriculture, geology, chemistry, math, physics, statistics or related professions can apply for the same IFS posts.

UPSC Civil Services Exam 2021 Age Limit

General and OBC category candidates applying for these posts will have to submit an application fee of ₹ 100. There is no application fee for SC / ST / Divyang and women. Candidates applying for these posts should have a minimum age of 21 years and a maximum age of 32 years. Candidates will be given age relaxation for reserved operations as per rules.
