D Pharma stands for the diploma in pharmacy. Pharmacy is the field of medicine dealing with the proper use of medicines along with preparation and dispensing of medicines.

What is D Pharmacy

D Pharmacy or D pharma is an undergraduate diploma course dealing with the pharmacy field. This is a full-time 2-year course. This 2-year diploma course is further divided into 4 semesters.

In some of the institutes, the course is also offered as D Pharm. Although, name varies it is the same course. The course is designed for candidates to get familiarized with basic concepts of the Pharmaceutical industry.

There is another postgraduate course Pharma D, which is only offered by the institutes approved by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India), the regulatory body of pharmacy education in India. This is a completely different course from D pharma.

Admission to D Pharmacy

One can seek admission to D pharma by getting appeared in the state level diploma entrance tests conducted by universities. Although, there are some institutes which offer direct admission to the course without conducting an entrance exam.

The candidate seeking admission to D pharma should have passed the 10+2 with science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).

The course fees vary from college to college. The figures for the fees may range from INR 9,000 to INR 2,00,000. It is up to the candidate to select the particular institute and get fees details accordingly.

D Pharmacy Eligibility

For seeking admission in any of the course or degree, a candidate must know the eligibility conditions so that he/she could choose the course as per his/her eligibility.

The eligibility conditions for D pharmacy is as given below:

• The minimum qualification required 10+2 level of education in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) from a recognized educational Board.
• The minimum marks required is 50% for general and 45% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates at 10+2 level.

D Pharmacy Distance Education

D pharma course is not valid if not done from PCI approved institutes. PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) is the regulatory body of pharmacy education in India.

Distance education is the type of education wherein the candidate does not attend regular classes.

As per course structure, theoretical along with practical classes is necessary. Hence D pharma could only be counted as valid if done with regular classes.

What is Commercial Pilot?

Commercial Pilot is a person certified with Commercial Pilot issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), obtained by completing all the required training.

How to Become a Pilot After 10th

Once you complete 12th, get done with the medical class and then, apply for the best flying school.

There are about 6 exams that you need to clear, and about 210-220 hours of flying, which comprises Single engine with an instructor or trainer until the institute gets the confidence that you can fly well.

How to Become a Pilot after Graduation

The only term you need to satisfy while applying for a flying course is that you should be a Science graduate with Physics and Maths as the subjects. However, you should not be over 23 years of age.

If you did not have Physics and Maths, then you need to clear 2 exams in Maths & Physics, set by the National Institute of Open University School (NIOUS). On clearing these exams, you would be eligible for the flying course.
