NATIONAL AFFAIRS:

1) The Daporijo bridge at Arunachal pradesh was established for traffic:

BRO built the Daporijo Bridge over the Subansiri River, taking the most drastic precautions against COVID-19 and interfacing the main line of communication in Arunachal Pradesh, irrespective of the nation lockdown. Arunachal Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu initiated the bridge over video conferencing and open to traffic from April 20.

2) The fifteenth Finance Commission’s Advisory Council is scheduled to meet on 23-24 April:

The Fifteenth Finance Commission’s Economic Advisory Council (XIV-FC) is organized on 23-24 April 2020 at which the administrator of the fifteenth Finance Commission, Shri N.K. Singh, will lead the web-based gathering. 3) Civil Services Day is praised on 21 April:

His selection is on an agreement basis under which he was named co-terminus with the tenure of the President of India for a year.
