NATIONAL AFFAIRS:

1) India is expected to be able to manufacture RT-PCR test kits by the end of May:

भारत मई अंत तक आरटी–पीसीआर परीक्षण किट का उत्पादन करने में सक्षम होगा:

Union Minister of Health, Harsh Vardhan, reported on 28 April that India would have the option to develop its own RT-PCR (Reverse Transaction Polymerase Chain Reaction) and neutralizer test units by May end.

केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री, हर्षवर्धन ने 28 अप्रैल को घोषणा की कि भारत मई अंत तक अपने स्वयं के आरटी–पीसीआर (रिवर्स ट्रांजेक्शन पॉलीमरेज़ चेन रिएक्शन) और एंटी–बॉडी परीक्षण किट का उत्पादन करने में सक्षम होगा।

3) Agartala Smart City uses the Mobile Kiosk to check samples for COVID-19:

6) Center provides Jurisdiction for International Financial Services Centers:

7) Justice Dipankar Datta has been confirmed as the Bombay HC chief justice:

Justice Dipankar Datta will succeed Justice Bhushan Pradyumna Dharmadhikari whose term of office as Chief Justice finished on 27 April 2020.

NATIONAL AFFAIRS:

1) Jal Shakti Abhiyan exercises during the monsoon to be extended:

 मानसून के लिए जल शक्ति अभियान की गतिविधियों को बढ़ाया गया है:

The Center has planned to utilize the forthcoming monsoon season under the National Jal Shakti Abhiyan to extend its endeavors to conserve water. Ministry of Home Affairs has permitted MGNREGA works/drinking water and sanitation attempts to be embraced at the time of lockdown with need given to water protection and irrigation works according to the Center.

5) NIP Task Force submits Final Report to the Minister of Finance:

The United States has reported an additional grant worth Rs $3 million to assist India battle the COVID-19 pandemic as the US help organization (USAID) declared on April 6, 2020 a grant worth $2.9 million to India to help its endeavors to curb the spread of novel corona-viruses.

1) Government permits the opening of all shops in rustic zones, with just independent shops in urban territories:

Hubble Space Telescope is celebrating its 30th commemoration on 24 April 2020 as the innovative architecture of the telescope has permitted space explorers, which is one of NASA’s longest-living and most significant observatories, to fix and update with advanced innovations and technologies and have been radiating transformative galactic pictures to Earth for a considerable long time.
