AFTER ENGINEERING IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

If you want to make your career after completing B.E./B.tech in Information Technology you can go for any IT industry and also for higher studies like M.Tech /M.S/MBA in India or abroad, and qualify and you can also go for jobs or research work in the organization.

A) If You’re looking for a career in Higher Studies

1.M. Tech: After completing B.Tech the candidate can go for M.Tech. It will give that candidate a lot of career scope and job opportunities in reputed and good industries of our country. After completing M.Tech candidates will get good salary packages for the post like Project manager, Senior Engineer, Research Associate, Development Engineer, etc…

2.MBA: If you want to learn the essentials of business such as leadership, communication, and critical thinking, and analytical skills you should go for an MBA. If you want to go further into this course and want to learn more, like if you want to focus on accounting, ethics, finance, marketing, and economics with electives that help build leadership skills, including networking, student conferences, and advanced student projects go in Wharton MBA program or curriculum.

3.MS: If you hold an MS degree you’ll be able to work in countries like the USA, Canada, Europe, and Australia. After completing this program you work abroad or also eligible to work in INDIA.

B) If You’re looking for a career in Industry

There are also good job opportunities in the IT industry after completing a B.E. / B.Tech in Information Technology.
The IT industry has a lot bigger scope than you think. In India technology is growing day by day.
Here are some job profiles available in the areas of programming:-

Web Developer: According to research full-stack developer jobs will see a huge increase in the coming years, and employment in the computer and IT fields will increase by 13%. With the worldwide economies and the Indian economy encouraging the growth of startups, the demand for this job is not going to end.

Database Administrator: Database administrators use professional software to store and organize data. The role or job of a Database Administrator is capacity planning, installation, configuration, monitoring, security, troubleshooting, as well as backup, and data recovery. According to research projects that database administration jobs will grow by 9% from 2018–2028.

Software Developer: Software developer creates software programs. They have the technical knowledge and skills to build those programs. They create software that allows users to perform specific tasks on computer devices. According to research jobs in this field will grow by a significant 21% from 2018 to 2028, compared to the % growth for all jobs overall.

System Analyst: A system analyst is a person who uses analysis and design techniques to solve business problems and plan solutions for the problem. They also analyze how well software, hardware fit the business needs of their client or employer. and also coordinate development between business development teams.

Networking Engineers: Networking engineers are computer professionals responsible for building and maintaining the day-to-day operation of computer networks that companies can trust on. it includes designing, implementing, and troubleshooting computer networks.

C) If You wanna go for government jobs like Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Defence, Civil Services, etc.

You have to pass entrance exams with a good aggregate. For eg: GATE, UPSE, SSB, AFCAT, Civil Services Exam.
Final Thoughts
If you still think these options are not interesting or you are thinking of something else to do, you can always turn to Education as a career option. There are many good teachers who can guide you.
