1) Leakage of styrene gas from LG polymers plant at Visakhapatnam slaughters in excess of 8 individuals:

विशाखापत्तनम में एलजी पॉलिमर प्लांट से स्टाइलिश गैस रिसाव ने 8 से अधिक लोगों की जान ले ली:

After Styrene gas spilled from LG polymers plant in Visakhapatnam promptly toward the beginning of the day on May 7, 2020, in excess of 8 individuals died including a child, as indicated by Andhra Pradesh DGP, Damodar Goutam Sawang, there have been 8 losses up until now and one of them has fallen into a well while attempting to get away. The accident occurred in the morning at about 3:30 am.

7 मई, 2020 को सुबह-सुबह विशाखापत्तनम में एलजी पॉलिमर प्लांट से स्टाइरीन गैस लीक होने के बाद एक बच्चे सहित 8 से अधिक लोगों की मौत हो गई है। आंध्र प्रदेश के डीजीपी, दामोदर गौतम सवांग के अनुसार, अब तक 8 लोग हताहत हुए हैं, जिनमें से एक भागने की कोशिश में एक कुएं में गिर गया। हादसा सुबह करीब 3:30 बजे हुआ।

2) Government prohibited export of liquor-based hand sanitizers:

सरकार ने शराब आधारित हैंड सैनिटाइजर के निर्यात पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया:

On May 6, the central government prohibited the export of liquor-based hand sanitizers as the choice was taken in the wake of the increasing request of the residential sanitizers. The central government on March 19 additionally declared a restriction on the export of coveralls, masks, ventilators and other necessary products for COVID-19 treatment where the Foreign Trade Directorate-General (DGFT) issued an official notification expressing that the liquor based hand sanitizers were barred from exporting.

केंद्र सरकार ने 6 मई को शराब पर आधारित हैंड सेनिटर्स के निर्यात पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया है। घरेलू बाजारों में सैनिटाइटरों की बढ़ती मांग के मद्देनजर यह निर्णय लिया गया है। केंद्र सरकार ने 19 मार्च को COVID-19 के उपचार के लिए कवरॉल, मास्क, वेंटिलेटर, और अन्य आवश्यक वस्तुओं के निर्यात पर प्रतिबंध लगाने की घोषणा की थी। विदेश व्यापार महानिदेशालय (डीजीएफटी) ने एक आधिकारिक अधिसूचना जारी करते हुए कहा कि शराब आधारित हैंड सैनिटाइजर को निर्यात के लिए प्रतिबंधित किया गया है।

3) DST INSPIRE creates nanomaterials for managing water contamination, with application for energy storage and optical sensors:

4) Aarogya Setu Introduced an Integrated Voice Response System:

The component Aarogya Setu Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) has been introduced in the mobile application Aarogya Setu which plans to incorporate individuals with feature phones and landlines under the security of Aarogya Setu and the administration is accessible throughout the nation.

आरोग्य सेतु इंटरएक्टिव वॉयस रिस्पांस सिस्टम (आईवीआरएस) फीचर को आरोग्य सेतु मोबाइल एप्लिकेशन में लागू किया गया है। ऐप की नई सुविधा का उद्देश्य नागरिकों को फीचर फोन और लैंडलाइन के साथ आरोग्य सेतु के संरक्षण में शामिल करना है। यह सेवा देश भर में उपलब्ध है।

5) Center setting up ranchers’ development focused on Soil Health Card for incorporated soil supplement management:

केंद्र ने मृदा स्वास्थ्य कार्ड के आधार पर एकीकृत मिट्टी पोषक तत्व प्रबंधन पर किसानों के आंदोलन का विकास किया।

The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has reported the creation of an incorporated soil supplement management program for ranchers as declared by the Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister of the Union, Narendra Singh Tomar. In 2020-21 the main focus of the Soil Health Program will be on a mass awareness campaign for farmers in more than 1 lakh towns covering the whole region of the country. 

कृषि और किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय ने एकीकृत मिट्टी पोषक तत्व प्रबंधन को किसान आंदोलन बनाने की घोषणा की है। केंद्रीय कृषि और किसान कल्याण मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने घोषणा की। 2020-21 के दौरान, मृदा स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रम का प्रमुख फोकस देश के सभी जिलों को कवर करने वाले 1 लाख से अधिक गांवों में किसानों के लिए एक बड़े पैमाने पर जागरूकता कार्यक्रम होगा।

6) AYUSH service to officially launch research on AYUSH strategies for COVID-19 circumstance:

आयुष मंत्रालय ने औपचारिक रूप से COVID-19 स्थिति के लिए आयुष हस्तक्षेपों पर अध्ययन शुरू किया:

AYUSH Minister Shripad Yesso Naik and Health Minister Harsh Vardhan will mutually initiate three AYUSH-based investigations in New Delhi on 7 May on the COVID-19 circumstance.

Mustafa Al Kadhimi has been appointed as Iraq’s new prime minister, breaking a very long time of political deadlock in which Iraq’s parliament decided in favor of Mustafa Kadhimi as the country’s next prime minister on May 7, 2020.

1) US organization Vista Equity Partners to contribute Rs 11,367 cr for 2.32 percent stake in Reliance’s Jio Platforms:

अमेरिकी फर्म विस्टा इक्विटी पार्टनर्स ने रिलायंस के Jio प्लेटफॉर्म में 2.32 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदारी के लिए 11,367 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश किया:

Vista Equity Partners, a US-based firm, would soon contribute Rs 11,367 crore for a 2.32 percent stake in Reliance Jio Platforms which will be the third significant interest in Reliance Industries Limited in under three weeks. RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani said in an explanation that like different accomplices of RIL, Vista has a similar dream about proceeding to expand and change the Indian digital biological system to benefit all Indians, and that the company accepts that innovation’s problematic potential is the way in to a superior future for all.

अमेरिका की एक कंपनी विस्टा इक्विटी पार्टनर्स जल्द ही रिलायंस जियो प्लेटफॉर्म में 2.32 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदारी के लिए 11,367 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश करेगी। यह तीन हफ्तों से कम समय में रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड में तीसरा बड़ा निवेश होगा। आरआईएल के चेयरमैन मुकेश अंबानी ने एक बयान में कहा कि आरआईएल के अन्य भागीदारों की तरह, विस्टा सभी भारतीयों के लाभ के लिए भारतीय डिजिटल पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को विकसित करने और बदलने के लिए जारी रखने के समान दृष्टिकोण साझा करता है। उन्होंने कहा कि फर्म प्रौद्योगिकी के परिवर्तनकारी शक्ति में विश्वास करती है जो सभी के लिए एक बेहतर भविष्य की कुंजी है।

2) Govt begins Ayush medications clinical preliminaries for COVID-19:

सरकार ने COVID-19 के लिए आयुष दवाओं के नैदानिक परीक्षण शुरू किए:

Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan declared on May 7 that the clinical preliminaries of Ayush meds have been initiated for COVID-19 by the Ministry of Health where the preliminaries will be age old prescriptions like Yashtimadhu, Ashwagandha, and Guduchi Pippali. The Union Minister told that the clinical preliminaries of Ayush medications have begun on well-being laborers and those working in high-hazard territories, and that the preliminaries will be in partnership with the Ministry of Health to give quality treatment to COVID-19 patients. 

केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ। हर्षवर्धन ने 7 मई को घोषणा की कि आयुष दवाओं के नैदानिक परीक्षण सीओवीआईडी -19 के लिए स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय द्वारा शुरू किए गए हैं। परीक्षण यशतिमाधु, अश्वगंधा और गुडुची पिप्पली जैसी पुरानी दवाओं के होंगे। केंद्रीय मंत्री ने बताया कि स्वास्थ्य कार्यकर्ताओं और उच्च जोखिम वाले क्षेत्रों में काम कर रहे लोगों पर आयुष दवाओं के नैदानिक परीक्षण शुरू किए गए हैं। स्वास्थ्य मंत्री ने आगे कहा कि परीक्षण स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के सहयोग से होगा ताकि कोरोना के रोगियों को मानक देखभाल प्रदान की जा सके।

3) Union Minister Gadkari has set the objective for road development at Rs.15 lakh crore for the following two years:

केंद्रीय मंत्री गडकरी ने अगले दो वर्षों के लिए 15 लाख करोड़ रुपये से सड़क निर्माण का लक्ष्य रखा:

Ministry of Road Transport and Highways reported its objective of building roads worth Rs.15 lakh crore in the following two years where Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways and MSMEs Nitin Gadkari declared that the Ministry is staying at work longer than required to clear all mediation cases with concessionaires.

4) Coir Board marked a MoU with IIT-Madras to create a Coir Application Center of Excellence:

Coir Board marked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras (IIT-Madras) on 7 May with the intention of developing a Center of Excellence (CoE) solely or in blend with other natural fibers for the use of Coir.

5) Smart City Nashik employs a variety of innovative programs to counter coronavirus:

Brilliant City Nashik is taking a range of steps and activities to counter COVID-19 initiated by Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) at the city level, including neatness/cleansing of open spaces by showering sodium hypochlorite with 8 tractors and 13 siphons on a territory of 36 sq km at different NMC workplaces, isolate offices and throughout the city.

6) For 3 years, UP passed a mandate repealing certain work laws:

यूपी ने 3 साल के लिए अधिकांश श्रम कानूनों को निलंबित करने के लिए एक अध्यादेश पारित किया:

Legislature of Uttar Pradesh passed an order ‘Uttar Pradesh Temporary Exemption from Certain Labor Laws Ordinance, 2020’ to suspend labor laws for the following three years with the goal of boosting industrial production and employing the enormous number of vagrant specialists who have returned to their local towns in the State.

उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य सरकार ने अगले तीन वर्षों के लिए श्रम कानूनों को निलंबित करने के लिए एक अध्यादेश ‘कुछ श्रम कानून अध्यादेश, 2020 से उत्तर प्रदेश अस्थायी छूट’ पारित किया। इस कदम का उद्देश्य औद्योगिक निवेश को बढ़ावा देना है और बड़ी संख्या में प्रवासी श्रमिकों को रोजगार देना है जो राज्य में अपने पैतृक गांवों में वापस आ गए हैं।

7) AYUSH Sanjivani Application began by Harsh Vardhan:

Dr Harsh Vardhan, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister, propelled the ‘AYUSH Sanjivani’ smart phone application and two AYUSH-based COVID-19-related investigations produced by the Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH) and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

8) INMAS passes approval by Indian Navy PPE:

Indian Navy has recently developed and created Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that has been tried and endorsed by the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), Delhi, a DRDO agency responsible for testing and certifying PPE authorized for large scale production and use in clinical COVID-19 circumstances.

2) Iran supports bill for money division to remove 4 zeros of its currency:

1) Saras Collection propelled at GeM Platform by Government:

सरस कलेक्शन को सरकार द्वारा GeM पोर्टल पर लॉन्च किया गया:

The Saras Collection was propelled on the Government and Marketplace (GeM) platform on May 4 by Minister of Rural Development Narendra Singh Tomar, which means to exhibit the day by day utility items made by the Self-Help Groups (SHG) and will likewise give access to state and central government purchasers in rustic regions.

सरस संग्रह ग्रामीण विकास मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर द्वारा सरकारी ई बाज़ार (GeM) पोर्टल पर 4 मई को लॉन्च किया गया है। सरस कलेक्शन का उद्देश्य स्वयं सहायता समूहों (SHG) द्वारा बनाए गए दैनिक उपयोगिता उत्पादों को प्रदर्शित करना है। राज्य और केंद्र सरकार के खरीदारों के लिए ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में भी बाजार उपलब्ध कराएगा।

2) Government to convey back stranded Indian people abroad in stages as of May 7:

सरकार 7 मई से चरण में, विदेशों में फंसे भारतीय नागरिकों को वापस लाएगी:

On May 4, 2020, the Indian government declared it would bring back every Indian people abandoned abroad in stages, beginning on May 7, 2020 as the individuals who had traveled to another country for work or different reasons were trapped after national lock-downs were declared worldwide to battle COVID-19.

भारत सरकार ने 4 मई, 2020 को घोषणा की कि वह 7 मई, 2020 से शुरू होने वाले चरणों में विदेश में फंसे सभी भारतीय नागरिकों को वापस लाएगी। कई भारतीय जो काम या अन्य कारणों से विदेश गए थे, देश भर में तालाबंदी के बाद COVID -19 का मुकाबला करने की घोषणा के बाद अटक गए।

3) Center to implement Agro MSME policy concentrating on the growth of entrepreneurship:

4) Integration of Cold Chain Projects performed and completed by the center:

The Food Processing Industries Minister of the Union Harsimrat Kaur Badal held a video meeting on 4 May with the advertisers of the finished Integrated Cold Chain Projects in which the advertisers of 38 cold chain ventures took an interest in the Video conference.

5) Lt Gen Raj Shukla took over management of ARTRAC:

Lieutenant General Raj Shukla who is an alum of the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla and the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun and was authorized to the Artillery Regiment in December 1982 took over order of the Army Training Command (ARTRAC) on 1 May 2020.

1) Trade Unions seeks central Rs 7,500 cash help:

The central trade unions have looked for money assistance for every needy family amounting to Rs 7500 from the central government. Ten central trade unions except for RSS member Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh, have together composed a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi encouraging him to offer money support of Rs 7500 every month to each non-income family that pays charge for a range of a quarter of a year.
