How to Become Cardiologist After 12th

A cardiologist is a specialist in heart diseases and its curing medicines. It’s a very respectable profession. Although, the journey to be a cardiologist is not everyone’s cup of tea. A person needs to be very much dedicated to the study and should be sincere and have high level of patience.

Eligibility

To become the cardiologist below is the stepwise list:

  • Complete 10+2 with PCB from any recognized institution
  • Earns a bachelor’s degree with MBBS of 5 and a half year
  • Go for a 3-year PG Course in MD (Doctor of Medicine) in general medicine
  • Further, go for study in 3-year DM course in cardiology

The total time period to be a cardiologist is MBBS(5 and a half year) + MD (3 years) + DM cardiology (3 years) = 11 and a half year.
